|The World Ends With You REVIEW!!|

Today we will be reviewing a game most of you probably never EVER heard of and on a console your not likely to own(kool for those who do) The game is none other than...
THE WORLD ENDS WITH YOU
PLATFORM: DS
SCORE: 8/10
GRAPHICS: 7/10
Lets start of with the graphics. The graphics aren't "holy ****" graphics but they are decent. REALLY decent. The only bad part with the graphics is that pulls it down is the fact the you can see the small pixels when you play with you character which makes it a bit of a draw back so if your looking for a game with decent graphic, go get this game but want the "punch you in your face graphic" don't get this game
GAMEPLAY: 9/10
The best part about the game is the gameplay and trust me this game doesn't disappoint you one bit. Let me break it down. It's probably safe to say that even though it's a fighting game girls will probably love it same goes for the boys. You fight with you own special "pin" which the main character, Neku, can use while you have a partner which has a "push the directional pad" attacks. Yes you do have to control them both at once but the good thing is that you can set auto-play in which case the computer or AI will take over your partner so you can control on you bottom screen. The pins are activated by various touchpad activites. Such as moving you stylus up and down on an enemy or stiking it down and hard on the enemy by moving you stylus down in a fast motion towards the enemy.

(Shiki's screen where you have to guess the 3 symbols on the top while kill off enemies)

(Neku's screen with 5 pins place at the top of the screen)
I said this game is for girls because well your pins and clothes have "brands". There is a "brand" chart that falls up and down depending on what you where to battle. There are 13 brands in which you can check your brand chart for. If you wear the top 3 brands you attack will be either doubled, 50% increase or 20% increase but if you wear the last brand on the list you attack will be
halfed so this gives the game a sense of "shopping" which makes it score very well for gameplay. But here's the bad part, whenever you want to use a specific pin sometimes another pin will activate which makes the game kinda frustrating sometimes.
Storyline: 9/10
The storyline for this game is one of the best. You play as a young snobby boy called Neku. Neku or "phones" as the other players like calling him is stuck in a game called the "Reapers Game". He is known as a player and he needs to survive seven days and fight "noise" soon he meets a girl named Shiki, a young girl who is a so called "designer-in-the-making" , you have to fight with her in order to suvive. You must find and compelte missions everyday as they are issued by the reapers in a specific time limit, fail and well...you get erased but no need for that the timer will not be a timer in real life.
Soon secrets are revealed and Neku realises the one golden rule in the game if they are to succeed "Trust your partner". The reapers game will finish in 7 days, in which you are given a chance for a "reward"(I will not tell you what the reward is...spoilers) But 7 days is not where your games ends lets just say you got a number of chapters to complete.
Overall:
Here's my advice, got a DS go buy this game but it's not worth buying a DS BECAUSE of this game.
FINAL VERDICT: 8/10
